Amanda Farrell
Panelist
Amanda Farrell is the Chief Executive Officer at Transportation Investment Corporation (TI Corp). She took on this role in December 2018 to lead the management and delivery of major infrastructure projects, including the Pattullo Bridge Replacement, the Kicking Horse Canyon Project – Phase 4 and the Broadway Subway Project. Since that time, TI Corp’s portfolio has expanded to include the Highway 99 Tunnel Program (including the new Steveston Interchange), and the Surrey Langley SkyTrain Project.
Prior to TI Corp, Amanda served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Partnerships BC (now named Infrastructure BC) for five years. Her focus was strengthening relationships with clients and contractors to develop major public infrastructure projects from hospitals and courthouses to transit lines. She also served as the Chief Project Officer in the now completed Evergreen SkyTrain Line in Vancouver.
David J. Hatem

David J. Hatem is a partner in the Boston-based law firm Donovan Hatem LLP. David’s practice specializes in representing engineers and architects, and advising professional liability insurance underwriters on project-specific insurance matters. David teaches Legal Aspects of Civil Engineering at Northeastern University Graduate School of Engineering, and has continuously served as Counsel for ACEC-Mass since 1988. He has authored and edited numerous articles and publications in his field of expertise, including:

David received Band One ranking in Chambers USA for Construction in 2022 and 2023, and was appointed an Honored Member of the Boston Society of Civil Engineers.
Steve Panciuk

Stephen has a broad background in engineering, with a Civil Engineering degree from Queens University and five years experience in the heavy civil construction industry. Before joining Marsh in January of 2016 Steve worked on the insurance carrier side of the business in both claims and underwriting for 18 years. In the role he was responsible for managing large, complex professional liability accounts.
Stephen is a frequent speaker at conferences and annual general meetings for various associations. In addition to being a member of the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies’ contracts committee, Steve also sits on the Consulting Engineers of Ontario’s Business Resiliency Committee.
Johanne Mullen

Johanne Mullen is the Real Assets Leader of PwC Canada. She has more than 30 years of experience in the areas of capital project advisory, project finance, complex procurement advisory and structured finance.
She is recognized as a leader in her field, having advised on some of Canada’s largest and most complex infrastructure projects, providing strategic and transactional advice from project feasibility through to financial close and through execution.
Johanne is Chair of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Council for Public Private Partnerships.
John Gamble

John Gamble is a licensed professional engineer with expertise in public policy. As president and CEO of the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies of Canada (ACEC), he is a recognized expert and spokesperson on industry issues across Canada and internationally.
Mr. Gamble’s success is built on combined experience in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. Before joining ACEC, he held senior management and executive positions in engineering-related industry and professional associations. Prior to that, he served as a senior advisor to cabinet ministers in the Ontario provincial government. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Queen's University and spent the first 10 years of his career practicing environmental engineering in one of Canada’s most prominent consulting firms serving both public and private sector clients.
Throughout his career, John Gamble has promoted the importance of engineering to our social, economic and environmental quality of life to a wide range of industry, government, academic and public stakeholders. In 2006, he became the first recipient of the ACEC Chair's Award for his “exceptional contribution to the consulting engineering industry.”
